Voluntary car scheme

Our volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to transport  local people who are unable to access public services, taking them to doctor's or dental appointments or to visit friends or relatives in hospital.

A mileage fee is charged to cover the driver's expenses and this is paid directly to the volunteer.  Registered Ring & Ride users can book this service two days in advance (or three days for medical appointments) by calling the office on 01454 228706.

An answer phone is available for enquiries and cancellations, however please note that we cannot action any booking requests left on our answer phone.
