In 2001, a lottery grant enabled us to purchase the Warrior, a multi-coloured minibus to be used mainly by Youth Groups. Two years later, the Yate Detached Youth Work service became the second member of our Youth Partnership scheme when we took over the operation of their Ford Transit minibus and updated it with a lift. 

The scheme is now funded through the Lottery Community Fund and provides specific youth organisations with priority use of a vehicle during evenings, weekends & school holidays. YSDCT has use of this vehicle during term time with a paid driver to provide additional Ring & Ride capacity.
